Mapping by mistake

  Dear support team: I did mapping oceandreamsconsulting.com to oceandreamsconsultingcom.wordpress.com by mistake. Then I deleted oceandreamsconsultingcom.wordpress.com on wordpress and canceled my service and got my refund. After, I want to do mapping for oceandreamsca.wordpress.com with the same domain Oceandreamsconsulting .com and paid the service. After 48 hours, when I try to type oceandreamsconsulting.com on my IE, it always show oceandreamsconsultingcom.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this site. Yes, I have deleted this name on wordpress, but I have done mapping to oceandreamsca.wordpress.com already, why it doesn’t switch to here even after several days? I urgently need your help. Now I canceled everything……Thank you in advance…

  Hi there,

  oceandreamsconsulting.com is not currently connected to any site on WordPress.com, and that domain loads a Namecheap landing page for me.

  If it’s still showing a WordPress.com page for you, the problem is in your browser – clear the browser cache, and it will start taking you to the current location for that domain.

  The problem here is that your browser still “remembers” where that domain used to point, and is taking you there automatically instead of checking if the domain now points somewhere else. Clearing the cache is essentially clearing the browser’s “memory” for all domains it recently visited, forcing it to look up the current information for the domain.
