Mapping co.il domain

  I do not yet own the rights for Itakmar.co.il but if I wanted to, I just checked if I could map it to WordPress and I get the error:

  Sorry but itakmar.co.il does not end with a valid domain extension.

  Why isn’t it possible to map .co.il domains via WordPress? Will this ever be possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  These are the available domain extensions in WordPress.com:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#available-domains

  If the domain extension you want to use is not available for registration on WordPress.com, you can register elsewhere and add it to your WordPress.com blog using Domain Mapping.http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
