  hi, sir.
  could you explain me, why i must upgrade premium when i wanna mapping custom domain? is it a new mapping rule? sry for bad english.

  Hello,

  To map your own domain, you will need a paid plan on WordPress.com. It does not have to be Premium though, even Personal would do.
