Mapping / DNS to wordpress website – crazydomains.com.au domain name

    Hi all.

    I recently just created a new domain name obtained via crazydomains.com.au.

    It’s for my blog which was http://www.anthtravel.wordpress.com

    and the new domain name is http://www.lifettlens.com

    The instructions from wordpress was to go into the domain names providers DNS details and update with the following.

    You can usually change your name servers at your domain registrar’s website, but the process is different for each registrar.

    Please visit your registrar’s website or contact their support team for instructions on how to update your name servers.

    Currently the nameservers for this domain are:
    •NS1.CRAZYDOMAINS.COM
    •NS2.CRAZYDOMAINS.COM

    Using the DNS tools provided by your domain registrar, remove any existing nameservers and add the following:
    •NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    •NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    •NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    Yet my wordpress blog is still not working and when i try the domain name it reverts back to crazy domains, saying ‘its parked?

    please help!

    http://lifettlens.com/ – loads fine for me to a WordPress.COM blog

    Domain Helper shows things are set correctly. It can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet, changes usually start after a few hours, due to caching issues you will probably be the last one to see the changes. You can try clearing your browser cache and forcing a page reload, sometimes that helps

    Thanks for the info. I’ve checked on my colleagues computer and it’s not appearing (though it may just be our computer system). It’s probably due to the server as you mentioned – but at least it’s configured properly. Probably also because I cahnged it only 12 hours ago. thanks anyway!

    You be welcome, just takes time once everything is set correctly. The waiting and such has been hard for each site I have moved and mapped
