Mapping domain

  Hi,

  I would like to map my existing domain without upgrading to a plan. This should be $13, but every time I go to do this, the site automatically tries to upgrade me to a plan. I try to remove the upgrade from my shopping cart, but this just redirects me to the previous page. Help?

  Sorry, but the way the WordPress system is set up,

  You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to map a domain. Each paid plan comes with a free domain credit you can use to either register a new domain or map one you already own.

  Hi there!

  If you would like to use it here on WordPress.com all you need to do is “map” your existing domain to your site. You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to map a domain. To add domain mapping , follow the next steps:

  1- Go to the Domains page, select your site, and choose the Add Domain option.
  2- Click the Upgrade button next to “Already own a domain?”
  3-Enter the domain you’d like to map and click the blue Add button
  4-Complete the checkout process for the domain mapping and WordPress.com plan (if you didn’t have a plan already).

  Hi i have the same problem semochka, i had the charge automatically but i lost my card so the charge couldn’t pass im already upgrade the new card, and im trying but it forces me tu upgrade to a wordpress plan i dont need… just need the mapping of my domain again..
