    What happens to current site if we choose mapping domain

    Hi there,

    If you map your current site’s domain name to WordPress.com site then any requests going to your domain name (site address) will be redirecting to WordPress.com site to which you have mapped your current site’s domain.

    Contents of your old site will not be reachable after pointing name servers to WordPress.com but you can see contents of WordPress.com site at your mapped domain.
