mapping domain

  Hi, I am mapping my own domain to WordPress. As much as I’d like to transfer it, I registered it a few days ago and need to wait.

  Anyway, when purchasing the mapping plan along with a premium plan, I have noticed that the premium plan is applicable to the .wordpress.com website. Is that correct? I’d still have the premium benefits for the normal .com website, correct?

  Yes, you will have access to all the features of the WordPress.com Premium plan on your .com site.

  As you have already purchased a domain name with another provider and you prefer to keep your domain registered with your current provider, you can use it with your WordPress.com site by domain mapping.

  @thiagobessimo, no worries, you need the free .wordpress.com subdomain but if you map your custom domain and make it your primary address, nobody will see the subdomain anymore :)

  The Premium plan will be applied to your WordPress.com site, the custom domain will be a part of the site.
