Mapping domain
-
I own a bluehost account and I use that to run a WordPress website. – http://theopinionatedindian.com/ .
If I were to pay $13 a year, I would have the same degree of control as I previously did. But in addition I’d get featured in the WordPress reader and a bigger wordpress audience correct? And WordPress users can “Follow, Like and reblog” my posts and blogs. Is that about right?
Thanks much. Cheers :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, you would be in the Reader, and people can like, reblog and follow your posts.
However, you would not have the same control on your website at all. WordPress.COM does not allow you to install custom themes, install plugins, you have no control on the permalinks, you can’t change the CSS of a theme without paying $30 a year for the custom design upgrade, you can’t have advertising (unless you sign up for WordAds), you don’t have FTP access, you only have 3GB of space to upload images (you can’t upload Videos or Audio without upgrades)
But in terms of publishing content, it’s the same process, you can write as you like.
