  how do i map my existing domain (pooljournal.co) to wordpress?? i bought the domain at dreamhost. You have guides for other companies like bluehost and godaddy – why dont you have one for dreamhost? their website keeps telling me to buy hosting.

  Yes, it looks like you’ve got mapping set up correctly.

  However, I am still seeing your http://poolmag.wordpress.com/ WordPress.com URL appear. You can change or update your primary domain by logging into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard, going to Store–>Domains, and making sure that pooljournal.co is set as the “primary” domain.

  i’ve got another problem – i just changed my wordpress username to be pooljournal instead of poolmag – so it better suited the pooljournal.co domain and now if i try access pooljournal.co its saying i deleted my account????

  “pooljournal” is showing as the blog owner and admin. So I’m not sure why you would be having trouble logging in.

  Maybe try clearing your cache/cookies and/or using a different browser to see if it is a system issue or just some out of date login info on your computer.
