Mapping domain

    Good evening, I previously purchased domain name and hosting from godaddy. However, I am having a lot of problems customizing etc. Being on the wordpress site, there appears to be more options and it seems more manageable. If I create blog here, how would that affect my account at godaddy? What is domain mapping? Is it possible to purchase premium for a shorter period?

    The main difference is that we’d take care of the more technical stuff here and also provide support and community resources. You can read more here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    You would probably not need your GoDaddy hosting unless you’re using it for something else. But you would need to keep your domain renewed.

    Mapping helps point a domain to your site. So you can map an outside domain, or if you buy a domain through us, it includes mapping.

    And all plans are only billed yearly at this time. I hope that helps. :)
