Mapping domain

    Does the Personal Upgrade plan allow me to use a domain that I already own?

    I’m quite sure it does. On the following url it says that:

    You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to map a domain. Each paid plan comes with a free domain credit you can use to either register a new domain or map one you already own.

    In other words, they only say you need an upgraded plan, not a specific upgraded plan. When you look at the specifications for eac plan, all the paid plans have “Custom domain name”. So you should be safe with that option.
