Mapping Domain – Design Structure

    Hi!
    I have my current domain for my business for many years now and I want to map it on WordPress. I want to know if I set up a new website on WordPress and map the domain, will it change the whole current design structure to my new design site on WordPress?

    P/S: this is my current domain http://www.ecoledeconduiteroyale.ca/en/

    Hi @qmvo1992! Mapping the domain means the domain will show whatever you’ve created here — design, content, everything. I can see the new site doesn’t have all the content from the old site yet, so you’ll want to get that moved over first. And, if you want to bring along any design elements with you, too, you’d be welcome, or you can use page templates to create a new layout.

    Also, your old site makes use of what we would call widgets. You can either add these to every page using reusable blocks, or choose a theme that has widget areas built in. From there we have options hours, maps, menus, etc. If you’d like to have someone set all of that up for you, we do have options here, or we also have guides and support sessions and what not to help you.

    Good morning supernovia,

    Thank you for your prompt response.

    I was trying to bring all the design elements from the old site to the new site that I want to set up for my business. However, I do not know how to set up the registration site in new site.

    If you visit my current website: , you can see that it has several steps,
    -First, the students will choose the location
    -Then select the desired courses
    – Then fill in contact information as well as account details.
    – Once the student signs up, I will receive a notification email with student’s detail.

    Aside from signing up, students can log in into their account and pay via Paypal.

    If you can show me how to set these features up for the new website, that’ll be amazing.
