Mapping domain from wordpress.com to existing wordpress.org

  Hello,

  I have wordpress already set up on my own hosted site. But right now I feel like its more convenient to use wordpress.com and just map it to my domain (because of getting readers faster, and has some features i like). but I was wondering what will happen to my wordpress at my own hosted site? Do I need to uninstall wordpress from my hosted site before mapping?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  You don’t need to uninstall your self-hosed installation, but if you really want to, you can. :) It doesn’t matter either way for what you are doing here.
