  if i already have a website up and running with a domain name, can i use that domain name to map by blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, but it’ll make your website an orphan with no address on the internet. You might want to map a subdomain to the blog, like subdomain.domainname.com http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
