mapping domain name from namecheap

    I have entered the ns1… etc addresses on the custom DNS section on namecheap and everything is ok from that side. When I try to upgrade my subscription to paid subscription, a message pops up saying my domain name is not connected to the site. I’ve gone through the steps for mapping the domain which ends in upgrading my subscription and this problem.

    Hi there!

    Is this for the domain thescienceofacupuncture.com and did you just change those nameservers to point to WordPress.com?

    If so, that might be the issue. Nameserver changes can take up to 24 hours to fully propagate and this current “limbo” period might be causing that specific error.

    Since it’s been a few hours since you posted, can you try the purchase again? If you get the same error, remove the domain mapping and complete the purchase, then map the domain after. The domain mapping upgrade is free with any plan for the life of the plan, so it doesn’t matter when you apply it to your site.
