Mapping Domain Name to Deleted blog

  Hi. I created a blog titled fortgreeneholidaymarket.wordpress.com and then paid the $13 to map it to fortgreeneholidaymarket.com, for which I was emailed the receipt. I thought that I no longer needed the one with wordpress in the title and deleted it. But then no blogs were showing up under my profile. I tried to register it again, and selected the .com extension off the drop down menu and the “dot com” was included in the domain name along with wordpress. I tried again to create fortgreeneholidaymarket.com, and this time it says that it’s taken, along the domain is available according to my domain search. I’m a novice, this is the second website I built, so please keep that in mind. .
