Mapping domain name to my free wordpress.com blog

  Hello everyone,

  I have been trying to map a domain name I registered with a certain domain registrar to my wordpress.com free blog. However, when I tried it, 99$ appeared as charge. How can I map my domain name to wordpress without going premium? And how much does it cost? And how do I go about this? I still want the free blog, I just want a personalised domain name attached to it. Thanks

  Hi there, buying a custom domain name or mapping a domain you already own is no longer available as an individual upgrade. Any new account or new domain sign up is now redirected to purchase a plan.
