Mapping domain to a wordpress.org account

I am wanting to install wordpress.org on my blog so I can use a theme I purchased.

I have hosting set-up via GoDaddy, installed their one-click WordPress add-on and purchased domain mapping with WordPress.
Their support told me point the DNS servers to them and not WordPress. I have done this, but I still can’t access the wordpress.org admin panel.

    The site is http://www.indianabikechallenge.com

Since I purchased hosting and domain mapping – which server does GoDaddy need to point to? Do I need domain mapping and if so, what dns should GoDaddy point to?

    Thank you!

Ooops! How do I delete my phone number?

    Hi Bobbi,

I have removed your phone number :)

After looking into the domain, I found that it was registered with GoDaddy and not us as seen here. So all DNS updates would go through them. You are no longer mapping the domain to your WordPress.com blog. Sometimes it just takes awhile to propagate.

Please note that WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. You can read more about that here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

WordPress.org has complete support and documentation sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress at:

Please go there if you have any questions about your WordPress.org site.
