mapping domain to point to Squarespace

    Hello, I am trying to map my wordpress domain to Squarespace. The directions on wordpress seem to be out of date. I followed the directions for creating a CNAME record, however, Squarespace says that I need to create a 301 redirect rule under “Forwarding.” There doesn’t seem to be a section listed as “Forwarding.”

    Hi there – Because of the way Squarespace requires domains be mapped, I recommend transferring your domain out altogether to a full-service registrar, such as GoDaddy. It will be much easier for you to manage your domain with Squarespace from there.
