Mapping domain to Squarespace re: Invalid Name

Hello,
If you’d be so kind to give me some support, I am trying to map my domain hosted at WordPress (livingpolished.com) to squarespace. It’s giving me a “invalid name” and is not allowing me to add the following dns entries. I noticed on another similar old thread, the only way this was able to be resolved is by a wp technician who had to manually input them herself. Placing anything other than the format suggested (example.livingpolished.com) in the name box results in an inability to add. @ name below should simply be blank but this is not possible from my end. nor is the cname of random letters/numbers.

Thanks time theif but I already read those. And that trick is something unfortunately i don’t have access to. On the edit dns page, I cannot open or edit the existing wordpress a name. so i don’t know how to change that. looks like i need someone with access to do it. thanks for your fast response

Unfortunately, I can do nothing more for you. You will have to be patient while waiting for Staff as they are not likely to respond until after Monday, 1/4 at 9:00 AM EST.

It looks like you’ve managed to get this working, as I see the correct records for Squarespace on your domain and it’s loading a Squarespace site for me when I click on it.

Thank you.yes I figured it out. I had to enter it from the admin console vs the quick post interface. :) it rejects input in different format than example.wordpress.Com there.

It seems there is a problem with changing A-records in the new domains interface, so you did exactly the right thing by going to My Domains in WP-Admin instead.
Sorry for the inconvenience. We are working on fixing this.
