Mapping domains

  Hi! I have dewytans.com hosted and registered with siteground and want to use wordpress for design. Is mapping the right option for this?

  You can use your existing domain with WordPress in two ways:
  1. Transfer that domain to WordPress – Under this feature WordPress will be your new domain registrar and you can renew your domain here only instead of keeping eye on two accounts.

  2. Mapping your domain: if you don’t want to change your registrar and just want to map that domain with WordPress then Mapping is the best way to do that. Here is the support document that will help you know more about the mapping:
