Mapping domains.

  I have a website with Go Daddy. The domain URL is http://www.mmrochford.com. But I want to develop a new website using WordPress – much more user friendly!!! How do I redirect people to the WordPress website.
  Also I believe I purchased a Premium package earlier this year. Can you please confirm this. I want to start to customise my WordPress blog to be my main website. Thanks for your help.

  Hi there,

  I see that you have set up domain mapping on your site here and have updated your DNS records at GoDaddy. Not to worry, as it can be a few minutes or hours until a domain change like that is updated on the internet. To be safe, I visited your site, and your domain appears to be working properly. Here is a screenshot of what I see at your domain:

  

  To explain, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain change is updated world-wide. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors” or a blank white screen.

  Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.

  If you still have trouble viewing the site after 72 hours has passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies:
