Mapping domian

I’m having trouble mapping my WordPress domain with a domain I purchased from WordPress. It says that I need to change the domain’s name servers but I’m not given an option to do that. My rigister is WordPress, unless I’m mistaken.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Expired Domain
Oops, it looks like francocignelli.com has expired. For more information on what your options are, please see this document.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/Non-WordPress.com Nameservers
Although francocignelli.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers as outlined below. To learn about how to correctly map an existing domain, please see our documentation. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/#instructions-for-mapping-an-existing-domain
If you’re not sure whether you own this domain or not, the WHOIS database record may help you out. If you’re not sure whether you own this domain or not, the WHOIS database record may help you out.
http://www.whois.net/whois/francocignelli.comWe require that your name server configuration include only the following servers or their numeric equivalents:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
Your name servers are as follows:NS1.STAR-DOMAIN.JP
NS2.STAR-DOMAIN.JP
NS3.STAR-DOMAIN.JP
If you have access to change the nameservers for this domain, please remove all nameservers not on the required list above. -
But I bought my domain through WordPress and it’s not allowing me to configure my name server to what’s listed above.

francocignelli.com – does not seem to be registered with WordPress.COM – it looks like it has been mapped to a blog here in the past – maybe you just paid WordPress.COM for just the domain mapping ($13.-/yr)
Since francocignelli.com is not registered here, you can’t change the name servers here – name servers can only be changed at the registrar

Hi peachplumorange,
francocignelli.com was registered with WordPress at one time, but it isn’t anymore.
According to the whois record it’s now registered at Netowl, Inc. – StarDomain
http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results-v2.jsp?domain=francocignelli.com
It also looks like your subscription to the domain expired over a year ago, and based on the Whois Record I think it’s likely someone else purchased the domain in the meantime.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I’m afraid your options are quite limited. Once someone else owns a domain your options are to wait for them to stop renewing their registration or to buy it from them.

Thanks, so strange that someone would buy my domain name. It was only expired for two months! I didn’t even realize it. How do I find out who bought the domain — and how can I contact them. Sorry for asking such basic questions!

All the information I have about your domain, I got from the Whois record linked below:
http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results-v2.jsp?domain=francocignelli.com
There is some contact information there as well as well as some other options for how you might proceed.
Note this is a public whois record and not connected with WordPress.com in anyway. I’m providing it to help you, but I can’t verify the information and help you decide how or when to get in touch with the new domain owner.
