Mapping existing not working
-
I have paid the $12 for having my blog address at qabaq.com. I have followed the steps in the “Map an Existing Domain” support article.
Basically, i have changed the name server to wordpress. its been a while now and the site is still gone! do i have to do anything with the DNS?
My domain’s registrar is name.com

http://qabaq.com/ is opening normally for me. This is sometimes caused by a delay in the propagation of the nameserver information, which can last up to 72 hours after the change.
Could you wait a bit a try again?
-
yes, i will wait a bit more. when i ctrl+F5 the bottom Status Bar shows “waiting for qabaq.wordpress.com” then says “waiting for qabaq.com” and keeps flipping between the two messages. The i get an error page that says:
“This webpage has a redirect loop”
“The webpage at http://qabaq.wordpress.com/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.”this is when trying with Google Chrome. With Firefox i get”
“The page isn’t redirecting properly”
“Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.”Is there a problem with the name server? i think its looping between qabaq.wordpress.com and qabaq.com!

Could you try clearing cache and cookies on your browser, and flush the DNS cache on your computer?
-
cleared all the cache and cookies and flushed the DNS Cache. Still same problem. I also tried with my ipad, same problem!

Could you try to open the site through Google Translate? If it opens correctly, this means that the nameserver information hasn’t propagated to your ISP’s nameservers yet.
