Mapping .fr domain from Gandi to WordPress.com

  Hi,

  I’ve been struggling since yesterday to map a new .fr domain that I bought from Gandi.net to my WordPress.com address. I changed the DNS Server names to the 3 servers for wordpress.com as instructed by both support sites but it does not work. The error message asked me to check:
  http://www.afnic.fr/fr/produits-et-services/services/zonecheck/, which I did and there was an error: Impossible to find SOA registration for this domain.

  Does anyone know whether a .fr domain could or not be mapped to a wordpress.com address?
  Or else what could be the issue?

  I also have the same problem (registar: Gandi & .fr domain). Do you think it can be a few days issue ? Or will it be more a 3 months issue ?

  Hello,

  I am having the same problem and when I use the support form there is no button to click to send you a support note. Our site is down as I thought it would happen automatically when I changed the nameservers and it didn’t. I also had the error Impossible to find SOA registration for this domain.

  My domain is http://www.chevalislandaisaei.fr and it is for my club, I need to get the site up asap and I just don’t know how to contact anyone. Thanks in advance.

  I have flagged this for staff attention.

  The Contact Support form was closed over the weekend as the staff tried to work off a backlog of requests and improve how WordPress.COM works for you.

  Thanks for that. I am actually migrating a wordpress.org blog over to .com so I’m pleased that you could respond so quickly. Support is one of the main reasons I wanted to move to .com so thanks a lot. I’ll try to make it work now!
