Mapping my blog to a sub domain vis CNAME not working

  I own the domain name http://www.nigeljonhart.com and have set up a wordpress blog nigeljonhart.wordpress.com.
  I want the blog to appear in the sub domain blog.nigeljonhart.com.
  I have followed your instructions for mapping a subdomain by adding the following CName record to the domain ‘nigeljonhart.com’ at Webfusion, (where it is hosted – and where the DNS control is).
  I have tried the following formats for the value field of the CName record:
  blog 14400 IN CNAME nigeljonhart.wordpress.com.
  blog.nigeljonhart.com. IN CNAME nigeljonhart.wordpress.com.
  nigeljonhart.wordpress.com.
  I leave several hours before testing – but all are failing.
  When I try to add ‘blog.nigeljonhart.com’ in Domains in my WordPress blog dashboard – the message says that the domain blog.nigeljonhart.com has already been registered but it is not pointing to wordpress.
  WEBFUSION SUPPORT SAY ALL IS FINE! PLEASE CAN YOU ADVISE ?

  Please check with your host, as your subdomain is not mapped to your blog through a CNAME record:
