Mapping my domain

  I bought a domain on go daddy and now I want to map it to my wordpress account.
  I was told that you get one free domain (new or pre-exisisting) for free but I cannot link it. WordPress is saying that I need to pay premium. Can someone please advise me on how to link my domain to WordPress for free?
