mapping my own domain from another site

  I am trying to find out how to map my domain name that I purchase from another site. When I tried to go into the setting to map it, it continually adds the ‘premium’ plan to my cart. Do I really need to spend the $100 to get the upgraded plan in order to map my web address, or is there another way I can do this using the current plan I am on? Thank you!

  You will need to set up Domain Mapping to use your domain with your WordPress.com site:
