  Hi,

  My friend and I were interested in starting a blog through WordPress. So we bought a GoDaddy domain and then had it mapped to our WordPress.com account…however, we since decided we wish to have it hosted through a different host website and will be using WordPress.org for our purposes. Is there any way we can get our $12 back to us?

  If it has been less than 30 day then you can get a refund on the mapping. See this support document on upgrades at the bottom on how to start the refund process.
