mapping subdomain

  Hi every one!

  I’m trying to make the following possible:

  subdomain blog.kozlova.ru directing users to my blog at olgakozlova.wordpress.com

  but I am in some kind of a loop in the Settings at wordpress.com

  1) I configured CNAME record of kozlova.ru as explained here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-subdomain/

  2) I added this subdomain in the form at Settings > Domains

  3) I got message that I can do it for $12 but I should use DNS of wordpress.com

  The message (3) contradicts to what is said on the previous page: “Alternatively, you can use a subdomain, which doesn’t require changing the name servers.”

  So, the question is may I use my DNS for mapping subdomain or not? If yes, how can I do it in Settings > Domains?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I verified the CNAME is correctly updated. However, the DNS is not fully propagated, so you may need to wait for a little longer. DNS change for domains other than .com and .net domains usually takes 24 to 48 hours, and this may vary depending on the domain registrar.

  Thank you very much! It has worked just like you said!

  But, of course, it would be better if I got more specific messages from admin panel about the nature of the problem.
