Mapping Subdomain can not fix it
-
Hi, amightywp a devellopper from WP answer me this a few days ago:
I just did a lookup online of the domain events.patricio-michelin.com, and it looks like you’ve not yet pointed it towards our servers.
What you will need to do is contact GoDaddy and tell them you need to create a CNAME for your domain “patricio-michelin.com” called “events” which points to patriciomichelin.wordpress.com.
So again, the record will need to look like this:
events.patricio-michelin.com CNAME patriciomichelin.wordpress.com
They should be able to help you do this or maybe even take care of it for you!
————–Hence I’ve contacted GoDaddy and apparently it’s done, but still I do not have my web site running… because prior to buy that option, I’ve already done the mapping domain from events.patricio-michelin -> patriciomichelin.wordpress.com. Now I don’t want anymore “patriciomichelin.wordpress” displayed in the adress bar… I want “events.patricio-michelin.com/everyblog/etc/etc/
My 1st question is:
Why when I purchased the 13USD option to have my own name displayed in the browser instead of patriciomichelin.wordpress.com it’s not working anymore?? I think that the problem comes from WP and not GoDaddy.
My 2nd question is:
Do you want/need my GoDaddy username and password to fix that between both parties? Thanks a lot, shine. Patricio

Hi again,
I’ve taken a look through your site and you subdomain, events.patricio-michelin.com, still hasn’t been setup quite right. As soon as it is, your site should come up.
If you’d like, when you contact GoDaddy.com support, you can give them this help center article:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/
Which they can review and then use to point your subdomain!
