Mapping Subdomain to my wordpress blog not working

  Dear,

  I added CNAME record in my domain company for mapping a subdomain (blog.hiitech.net) to (hiitblog.wordpress.com) but it doesn’t work. I added the subdomain in wordpress and then I added a CNAME record as given by you in the blog control panel (blog 14400 IN CNAME hiitblog.wordpress.com.) but when I tried to enter my blog I got this message:

  In Chrome
  “Directory Listing Denied
  This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.”

  In Internet Explorer
  “HTTP 4.3 Forbidden”

  I added it before 3 days and I still not able to open my blog.
  Please help me in this problem. Best Regards

  Hi there,

  When I did a lookup for the CNAME of the subdomain blog.hiitech.net using tools available online, I got a notification that the lookup had failed. This indicates that the records do not exist.

  You may want to check with your domain name registrar and verify that the subdomain was setup correctly and that the DNS change was broadcast out to the internet correctly. They should be able to assist you!
