Mapping to a domain held by institution

  Hi,
  I have a website at antsongroup.wordpress.com and have been granted the domain http://www.york.ac.uk/res/antsongroup by our institution, and I would like to map to this domain. How can I do this?
  I do not have the same control as our Web office who have set this domain up for us, so if there are instructions I will need to pass on to them please highlight this.
  (I have already read through the guides on wordpress but require further assistance).

  Hi there,

  Subdirectories like http://www.york.ac.uk/res/antsongroup can’t be mapped to WordPress.com sites. However, you can map subdomains like http://antsongroup.york.ac.uk/ if your institution allows it.
