Mapping to a domain I own

  I went to purchase the $17 package for the year to map to the domain I already own. When I continued, it automatically added the premium package, that I do not need. I would only like to purchase the $17 for the year. Please advise

  Hi,

  In order to map a domain, you will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site.

  The cheapest option would be the Personal plan.

  Each paid plan comes with a free domain credit you can use to either register a new domain or map one you already own. There is more information about domain mapping on this page:
