Mapping to a knew domain name result in an redirection loop

  I created the blog http://www.uncclubfootball.wordpress.com

  I owned the domain name http://www.uncclubfootball.com

  I wanted to map my blog to this domain name.

  I configured my nameservers following this support help : http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  I had to wait until those nameservers “NSx.WORDPRESS.COM” actually update.

  It is now done, and when i was going on http://www.uncclubfootball.com, this was redirecting me to http://www.uncclubfootball.wordpress.com, I don’t know why.

  Then, i set the primary domain name to http://www.uncclubfootball.com, and whenever i try to go on one of those links, I have an infinite loop, and Google chrome tells me that there is a redirection loop.

  I guess the problem is that when I go on uncclubfootall.com, it redirects me to uncclubfootballwordpress.com (whichever domain is primary)

  Any idea why and how to fix it?

  Glad to hear that.

  In general, it can take up to 72 hours for DNS changes to propagate through the internet. It typically goes much faster than that, but it really depends on your ISP as to when it happens for you specifically.
