mapping WordPress domain to Squarespace

    I have been trying for about 2 weeks to map my blog over from our host, wordpress, to squarespace.
    I have had no help from wordpress staff with this and each time i contacted either wordpress or squarespace got mixed information.
    i ended up getting the wrong info/confused and changed the nameservers which meant our website worked, but then this screwed up our email capabilities with Zohomail.
    I then changed the nameservers back and edited the CNAME records in the DNS settings in WordPress to direct to squarespace, but today i went online and it is directing back to our old wordpress site!
    This is super urgent because i really don’t want to be sending anyone over to that old website. It’s just frustrating because i had it working and now it’s reverted back.
    All the instructions already available online are not relevant to Squarespace. I simply need to MAP the domain over.

    Hi there,

    I’m sorry you had trouble with this! Since your domain is pointed to Squarespace, we needed to add your Zohomail settings in your domain manager, too. I just added those for you, so your Zohomail email should start working again in a few hours (although it can take a bit longer in some cases).

    Hi Rachel,

    Thanks for getting back to me! Sorry my last post was a bit rude, i was just frustrated.
    I’ve just tested it and the emails are working fine now.

    Squarespace seemed to think that changing the nameservers was the issue. At the moment the way it’s set up (for reference in case someone else comes across this problem)
