mapping wordpress on a .it domain

    i already own another domain with godaddy.
    i would love to map there my blog, but godaddy asks me for IP adresses. where can I find them?

    WordPress.COM does not does not support fixed IP addresses ( my domain mapped site here has six currently ) – for the best reliability you should use name servers

    Why does Godaddy insist on IP addresses?

    Thank you auxclass. Unfortunately, On godaddy, you can’t register a new nameserver without specify the ip adresses. I do not kknow why they insist on them but they do….

    Godaddy has been a problem – see below for the six IP addresses for my site here – note – using one IP address is not a good idea at all and will cause your blog to fail at some point.

    The IP addresses here are changed dynamically based on server load, site maintenance and such and are taken out of service at times for normal upgrades then the IP address might be added back later – you need to use several IP addresses and check the IP addresses from time to time
