Mapping wordpress.com blog to site.com/blog and running Google Ads

    Hello,

    I’ve been using WordPress since 2006, but recently I started thinking of porting my wordpress.com blog to my own domain.

    Essentially what I want to do is to map my current acidmartin.wordpress.com domain to wemakesites.net/blog and also to be able to run Google Ads on wemakesites.net/blog. Is it possible, and which paid option should I choose?

    Hi Martin,

    You won’t be able to map your blog to a directory on your domain.

    If you’re looking to run Google Ads, you will have to use the self-hosted WordPress.org software. This will have the added advantage of letting you place your blog in a directory. However, you’ll need to host and manage the blog yourself.
