How can I find what the default top and bottom margins are in the 2016 Theme for both a Header block and a Paragraph block in a post?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

You can find this info by viewing your site’s CSS code in the browser inspector in your browser.

Right-click on the element you want to check, and then select the Inspect option. That will open the browser inspector with the HTML code of your site on the left, and the CSS code that applies to the specific element you selected on the right.

We have a short tutorial on how to do this here:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/how-to-find-your-themes-css/

Paragraphs in the Twenty Sixteen theme only have a margin-bottom value of 1.75em

For headings it looks like it depends on screen size. Looking at your site on a desktop, headings have a margin-top of 2.9473684211em and a margin-bottom value of 1.473684211em

As we’ve already been helping you with the spacing between paragraphs and headings in https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/2016-theme-spacing-question/ I’m going to close this thread as a duplicate. Please try not to open multiple threads about the same, or such closely-related issues.
