Markdown formatting is being lost after few days
-
There is an annoying bug. I write posts using markdown, but when I try to edit the post after few days, the markdown formatting appears converted into HTML.
How to prevent the conversion?
How to convert it back into markdown? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you say you see them in HTML when you try to edit the post after a few days, are you sure you are seeing this on the visual editor? The visual editor should not show the markdown text you write as HTML. Only the HTML view on the WordPress.com editor should show the markdown text in HTML.
I encourage you to reconfirm that you are not seeing on the visual editor.
If you are seeing that on the visual editor, let me know and I will be able to add the modlook tag here for a WordPress.com Happiness Engineer to have a look at and help fix the bug.
Thanks!

I ignore the Visual mode. I write and edit posts only in the HTML mode as a markdown text. It works fine on the first day. After I publish it, when I try to edit it, the markdown is there. However, after one to three days, if I try to edit it, the markdown is replaced with HTML.
