Markdown not working

  I have activated the markdown setting in the wp-admin but when I am working in either classic or new block form the markdown doesn’t seem to work. How do I solve this.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I checked your account and verified that Markdown is enabled for posts and pages (though not for comments, btw). Are you just not seeing your text translate Markdown correctly when you preview your post/page?

  In regards to the block editor, are you following the instructions that are described on our support page?:

  Markdown Block

  Also, I did not see anything other than a contact page on your site. Is there a post or page that you are working on that I can take a look at and see if Markdown is working on this end?

  I haven’t posted something because of this problem. I wanted to make a footnote so I made the correct code butt nothing happens.

  Please create a page containing the markdown you want to use so we can see the problem in action. You don’t have to publish it; just tell us the title of the post/page, and we’ll be able to view it on our end.
