marked a comment as spam – incorrectly!

is there a spambox or something somewhere where I can find this comment and correct my mistake and aprove it so this poor guy I marked as spam to be allowed to comment again?
can anyone help?

go to dashboard, select comments, under it select akismet spam, scroll and search for the comment and edit accordingly.

I went to akismet spam but there’s nothing there. it just says “You have no spam currently in the queue. Must be your lucky day. :)” – usually a good thing… but yeah…
maybe there simply isn’t any way to find it again. or what? it wasn’t caught as spam in the first place, so maybe it was deleted when I accidently marked it as spam? I just hoped I could find it somewhere and approve it?
Am I a foolish dreamer?

A comment you manually marked as spam won’t be in the Akismet queue. I think you’re out of luck on this, but the commenter will probably be able to comment again in the future (it usually takes more than one report for Akismet to learn what is spam/not spam).

Actually marking a comment as spam does drop it into the Akismet queue if it’s a recent post. If the post is more than 30 days old though, it gets deleted.

simonkl: i frequently log into my blog and i sometimes in a day, i can see nothing in my akismet queue and at the same day i saw some in other times i log in. you might want to check it every now and then.
