Marketing bar prevents use of hamburger menu on mobiles

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi all,

I am using the twentytwentyone theme for a simple wordpress.com site. On mobile I notice that the WordPress marketing banner will cover the hamburger menu. This stops mobile users from using the site navigation.

    Does anyone know a workaround?

(This is for a charity without a budget so it is not possible to pay for the premium version to remove the marketing banner)

    Many thanks

    Mark

Including a logo appears to make the menu visible on mobile. Not ideal as don’t really want a logo but seems to be the only workaround.

  • Hi there,

It looks like this is a bug with the Twenty Twenty-one theme you’re using. Our developers are already aware of it, but I’m afraid I can’t give a timeline how long it will take to fix.

We’ll update you here once we have more information.
