Hi! I want to know two things: is it possible to create a marketplace on wordpress and if so, which plugins do you recommend? Secondly, I would lile to approve the shops before they are created on my marketplace, is this possible? Thank you!

So let me see if I understand correctly. You want to create a site to aggregate links to other online shops? If so, that kind of site is not suitable for a WordPressdotcom site as it is primarily dedicated to driving traffic to 3rd party sites. WordPressdotcom is meant for creating original content.

Hi! Thank you so much for your answer. Actually, what I meant by “marketplace” is the type pf website that allows individuals to sell things like Etsy, Airbnb or even Ebay. I am pretty sure certain plug ins exist to create these types of websites but I don’t know which one works best… I am also trying to figure out if there is a way I could “approve” shops before they appear on the marketplace and becom able to sell through the page. Hi @gabrielledrouinm, that is possible with the business plan and plugins. You’ll want to do some research since there are many options available, but here’s one that works with WooCommerce. Just note some of these plugins are going to have fees associated with them. I hope that helps!
