Markup is not allowed in CSS

  Hi everyone,

  I just downloaded Hipsta theme and customize it according to my wishes. The problem came along when I wanted to change blog layout from grid to grid full width. When put the code into CSS I always get this message out:

  ‘Markup is not allowed in CSS’

  Can anyone tell me what does it mean and how to solve the problem? The code I am using was already part of theme documentation, so I think (and expect) it is correct one.

  Sounds like you might be trying to put HTML code into the CSS editor, instead of CSS.

  These forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com, but you’re running the WordPress software on your own hosting. If you need further help with the self-hosted version of the premium Hipsta theme, you can try contacting the developers where you bought it. Looks like it’s available from several places (Creative Market, Mojo, Themeforest) so you’ll want to check where you purchased it and return there.
