Marquee Theme (Premium) out of order!
-
Hello all,
I unfortunately installed WordPress first and afterwards I was looking for a hosting provider.
According to that I had to fully erase my wordpress.com website. I tried to export all the files, but somehow I didn´t work out! Now I have the problem not using my Marquee Theme, which definetely is my most favorite theme for 90$. I kindly would appreciate it if you refund my 90$ or to use my Marquee Theme again. I´d rather prefer using it. I just started yesterday working with WordPress and it was a lot of fun. Not now anymore, please help! Thanks TaiThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s very kind of you. Thank you. Just purchased a brand new Marquee Theme using the correct domain.
Is there any chance providing me an instruction of the Marquee theme?!
That would help me a lot as a just started working with wordpress! Thanks in advance

You can find detailed instructions on setting up Marquee here:
https://wordpress.com/themes/marquee/support/On that page you’ll also find a link to the premium themes support forum where you can get help directly from the theme designer.
You’re also welcome to ask here if you have any questions, or if you contact us via the contact form during week days you should be able to connect to us via live chat and we can help you there:

Hello,
Hope you´re fine. Thanks for your quick response. I desperately try to install
the included Marquee Plugin called CUE (see link):https://audiotheme.com/wordpress-plugins/
Hopefully somehow there´s a way to install this CUE Plugin! It is very important to me that the music keeps on playing especially when you click through the other menu topics on the Marquee homepage. I hope you can help me. The other trouble shooting is, that I can´t change the font size and font styles individually. What happens is a global change for the whole menu! How can you help with me with this problem?!
Thanks for your help in advance.
Take care

Plugins can only be used on self-hosted WordPress.org sites, not on WordPress.com. The plugin you want to use will work with the self-hosted version of Marquee, but not with the WordPress.com version that you bought from us.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different:
WordPress.com and WordPress.orgTo change the font size for only specific elements on your site you need to use custom CSS instead of the Font panel in the Customizer. For help with CSS, please post in the CSS forums, here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forums/css-customizationMake sure to tell them your theme, and explain for exactly which sections you want to change the font size, and the users and staff in that forum can help you with the code you need.
See here for more information on this feature:
Custom CSS
How to Add Custom CSS -
Ok! Can I change form WordPress.com to WordPress.org?!
And how can add a blog follow widget on a different except at the front page?!
Thanks for your reply. -
You can find some information on switching to a self-hosted site here:
https://move.wordpress.com/The default follow button should show on any page on your site in the bottom-right corner, but if you want to use the widget as well you need to add the widget to a widget area that shows on all pages. Usually that would be a footer widget area, provided your theme has one.

If I do the transfer I can´t use this theme. Do you know an alternative
to the CUE Plugin to be ensured that music can be heard while you click thorugh the menu bottons?!
And an alternative tool to change the font size and type style?! -
Marquee comes with an audio player already built in. The theme instructions I gave you earlier explains how that works:
https://wordpress.com/themes/marquee/support/As for the fonts, I already said above that you will need to use CSS to change the font size. You need to post in the CSS forum for help with that.
It’s not possible to change the font type with CSS. That can only be done via the fonts panel in the Customizer.
