Mashup in all..

I want to delete the blog I created by mistake since OpenId gave me a failure and said I wasn’t a user. Have account for stats by Jetpack and is self-hosted. Can’t even follow the guidelines to make it private..
I am searching everywhere. People ask the same questions but the thread are locked and no answer. Delete it then.. Much easier for me to find an answer if I don’t have to see empty threads.
And you have done tutorials how to change things in blog. As a start you the alphabet in N instead of explaining it from the beginning like start in A. Everybody isn’t pro like you and dummiystyle explanation without abbreviations would be appreciated. In the matter of fact you go-through’s are pointing of an old style of WordPress, so what ever they say even with pictures it don’t look alike.
If you think it is to much job with keep it free.. Well get paid for the service and customers are gone. WordPress is free, even if you are hosting it for.. just that, NEWBIES.
Well I’m not gonna get an answer to my question anyway, so why bother ask..
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
..and I thought this was going to the actual support.
Well, bring the question to the other users..
..don’t think users can change the guidelines and tutorials, but ask the public.. -

Which blog URL are you referring to?
Provided you post the URLs of self hosted blogs you want deleted from your account into a forum thread like this one, Staff can do this for you. Please do that now as I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

Well, My blog is now deleted and my account is still there. Don’t know how but it wasn’t me doing that..
So I guess another staff colleague did this without informing when reading this thread.
As you can see I’m subscribing but still didn’t got the answer how..

Guess what?
I had make the dashboard appearence hidden. Dashboard for me is the controlpanel for the blog, not make blog hidden..How on earth should I ever learn if I have to be mindreader to know what the words really means.
Come on, Use correct phrases. I’m not even a native tounge english speaker. -
Thinking the admins and staff should update the code from ‘beginners’ to unavailble cause Apple have/or started the war of embed media
-
I’m a bit confused by what you were trying to accomplish, but it sounds like you’ve resolved it on your own. To confirm, though: have you sorted this issue out? If not, could you please start from the beginning with the address of the site and what you were trying to do?

Problem not solved. I want to delete my skyestudio.wordpress.com blog but keep the account.
My dashboard for the skyestudio.wordpress.com is hidden
Had been more understandable to change the phrase from “hide the dashboard” to “hide blog appearance”One more thing that is confusing is that there is three dashboard links on the admin panel for selected blog. One of them links to managing of all the accounts blog. Had be a lot easier to access the settings of the blogs on the tab “my blogs”
Have an expression that is called home blind. Where the developer know where everything is located and how to manage the blogs without even read the content. The NooB Just sees dashboard written all over the admin panel. A “WordPress.com for dummies” is really needed. Follow the guidelines and tried to click on the right dashboard link but I was lost. Finally I found out that hide the dashboard was disable the blog appearance for all visitors.
Earlier today even my main self-hosted blog was down. I had access to the FTP and all files where there so I think someone who didn’t find my hidden dashboard was about ruin my main blog that is visible to connect with Jetpack and other functions.
I will try to find out how to unveil my dashboard so that you can see the blog that is unwanted without erasing my account. From an iPhone.
Customize. Customize and change in same tab group also make stranded in same setting for the blogs css file. A change don’t even can do until $30 is paid. That can be the reason you don’t understand what am talk about. The “free version and “paid” have different layouts in the dashboard and admins off course only see the paid version.
Want to delete the blog and keep my account.
-
Noticed that it was far more easier to find what I was looking for In iOS environment than from a PC.

Thanks for the additional information.
It looks like you have the following blogs associated with your WordPress.com account:
varadero.skye.se (self-hosted, with Jetpack installed)
skyestudio.wordpress.com
ironbutter.wordpress.comIt sounds like you may have changed the Dashboard visibility for one of your blogs. This page explains how to change those settings:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility
To delete a WordPress.com blog, you can follow the instructions here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/Don’t worry, you cannot delete your account, as currently we do not provide a mechanism for that.
As for your self-hosted site – we have no control over that site. Jetpack provides certain functionality but we cannot control whether your site is working or not. For that you will need to contact your hosting provider.
Finally, concerning Customize: you can make some customizations to your sites for free. For advanced customization, including access to custom colors, fonts and your site’s CSS, you will need to purchase the Custom Design upgrade. In the Customizer we do allow you to preview changes without paying, but you need the upgrade to make them permanent.

Check the box that says I’m sure I want to permanently remove yourgroovysite.wordpress.com, and I am aware I can never get its content or its address back.
Donna. Your reply tells me something different.
If I cannot use blogname.wordpress.com and not customize and tweak it for example Jetpack. I’m back to zero and need to create a new account and the mess starting over.Would advise you to look over your guidelines and make them understandable
-
The warning is telling you that if you delete a site, the action is permanent, and you will not be able to use that WordPress.com address again.
Your WordPress.com account (skyestudio) is not deleted at the same time, just the site in question. You are always free to start another blog.
If you want to reuse the same address but with different content, rather than deleting it, I can empty it of all content for you.

Hi again,
The issue here is about to get solved but there is still some questions.
Due to Jetpack expansion, get social networks aligned to the blog I was forced to start up the site for the account (skyestudio.wordpress.com)I’m afraid if I delete the site and more fancy stuff and scripts am not available to start it up again ’cause it is abandoned for life. As it is now, I’m due to this activation of the site I am my own follower to the self-hosted one.
In fact I think your answers Jackiedana must be in the guideline for deleting the site, due to how its now presented it only confuses.
Thanx a lot for evolving into the concerns and worries I had.

Your Jetpack connection is linked to your WordPress.com account (skyestudio), not any blog you have with us. Blogs can be deleted, accounts cannot be deleted. In fact, you can have a WordPress.com account with absolutely no blogs attached to it, and many people do exactly that in order to use Jetpack.
You can also use your single WordPress.com account to connect many different sites to Jetpack. Your social networks will be connected to the specific Jetpack-enabled site, not to your WordPress.com blog. Those connections are created separately.
If you have more questions about Jetpack, you might find this page useful:
http://jetpack.me/about/ . We also have documentation and other Jetpack-specific support here: http://jetpack.me/support/
