Masonry grid gallery / Option to add a ‘Link to Media File’?
-
Hello!
I am currently using the default Masonry grid gallery template in WordPress to build my portfolio website. But is there a way to add a ‘Link to Media File’ somewhere in the settings/code, like a tiled gallery has?The Masonry grid gallery is neat and easy to update, so I would prefer it over a tiled gallery. But I would like to give visitors the option to enlarge the images.
The AI reply mentioned the option of adding an Attachment Page link. However, there is no Link Settings for the gallery block in my template.
Thank you for any help.

Hey there,
You certainly can, though the language you will see is “link to attachment page.” The option is in the floating menu above your blocks. Select the image you wish to link to and then the link icon in the floating menu. You can learn more about using the Gallery Block here:
This guide will show you how to use the Gallery block to display multiple photos together. The Gallery block contains individual Image blocks for each image and arranges them in an attractive way. Video Tutorial Add the Gallery Block To add the Gallery block, click the + Block Inserter icon and search for “gallery”. Select it to add the block to the post or page. 💡 UHope this helps!
