Masonry link not available now ?
-
Hello,
Recently, I can no longer add links to the Masonry plugin.
It still offers me the option to set a custom URL in the settings, but when I click on the image, I can no longer add anything. Previously, I was able to insert the link directly. Has something changed? On my other posts, the redirect links are still active.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there, If you are using a plugin, then you’ll want to contact the plugin author.
If you are using the Tiled Gallery BLOCK, this guide has more information https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/tiled-gallery-block/

Hi @lejaime, there is a bug with the Masonry block on Premium/Personal/Free sites, which causes you to be unable to select individual images.
We’re noting the case with our products team, but in the meantime, if you’ll share a link to an affected page and let us know what changes you’re trying to make, we may be able to recommend a workaround. In fact I’ve just tried something: if you convert the block to Gallery, you can sort the images, then convert back to Masonry. You may see a little visual glitch in the switch, but it shouldn’t affect the final outcome. Want to try that?

I’ve reported this in a different thread but wanted to continue the focused conversation away from the other issues it was buried in. Masonry is broken. Yes, the switch to gallery allows reorganization, but captions added in Gallery do not come over to Masonry and I’m unable to add captions now in Masonry (probably for at least a month).

@twopearces the issues reported with the tiled gallery block were resolved.
If you are still encountering issues with it, open your own forum thread at https://wordpress.com/forums/?new=1 and let us know your WordPress.com site that this is happening on.
