Massive spam the last couple of days despite having akismet active on my blog.

Hi there,
Are they going straight into your spam or into your regular comments? If they’re going into spam directly, then all is as it should be.
If they’re going into your regular comments, please mark them as spam to “teach” Akismet to recognize them as such.
-
They are getting in as regular comments. I have to manually mark them as SPAM each and every time.
Since they are all very similar, Akismet should have caught them.
-
Once you’ve marked a few as spam, they should go into your spam folder. But if it continues to be a problem, please report it directly to Akismet here:
-
I can’t, as I’m not a paying customer with them. Note I needed to mark more than a few of them as spam.
Since I’m your customer, and you are their customer, you should contact them. -
You don’t need to be a paying customer to contact them. The reason that I ask you to contact them directly is that should they have follow-up questions, they can work with you directly. But I’m happy to pass along the information, if you prefer.
Can you link me directly to a few examples of the spam comments on your site that weren’t flagged as spam to begin with?
